Agape Heads – 2015
What is your expression going to be when you meet your maker?
These little heads with mouths agape represent an astonishment; they are in utter surprise and perhaps fear of their creator…me 🙂
AgapĂ© is a type of love; the love that God has for his children.  It’s an unexplainable love (as most are).  As I create these little figures I care for them.  They are personalized, each with their own features and “personality,” if you will.  I am able to understand in a very small way the AgapĂ© love that God has for his creation.  He crafted each of us with his hands, the same way I craft these A-gapĂ© heads with my hands.  They are my little beings and I love them, even if they are astonished at me and might even fear me.Â
AgapĂ©, agape, A-gapĂ©…seems to make enough sense to me 🙂
