Pink Triangles – Oil on Canvas – 1999
A professor in college HATED the color pink. In his high society East Coast accent he would declare it “dreadful.”
I painted this, in a way, to see if I also thought the color was awful. I do. Terrible color. I think this is the only painting I have with pink in it. I love the geometry and movement, hate the pink. Mr Brown was always right.
